Laksamana Madya (Vice Admiral) Horatio Nelson, Viscount Pertama Nelson, KB (29 September 1758 – 21 Oktober 1805) merupakan laksamana British yang terkenal dengan pembabitannya dalam Perperangan Napoleon, terutamanya dalam Pertempuran Trafalgar, kemenangan mutlak British dalam perperangan di mana dia terbunuh.[1] Nelson dikenali kerana keupayaannya bagi memberi semangat dan menghasilkan yang terbaik bagi orang-orangnya, sehingga pada tahap ia diberi nama: "Sentuhan Nelson". Tindakannya semasa perperangan Laut ini bererti dia dihormati sebelum dan selepas kematiannya sebagaimana sebilangan tokoh tentera sepanjang sejarah British.
