Terdapat beberapa gunung berapi di wilayah Malaysia, yang kebanyakannya terletak di wilayah Sabah.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] Kesemua gunung berapi di Malaysia hanya wujud di kawasan Sabah sahaja, yang di zaman kini tak lagi meletus. Walau bagaimanapun, Gunung Bombalai ada berkemungkinan boleh aktif semula,^{[perlu rujukan]} tertakluk kepada akviti perut bumi, dan letusan terakhir yang pernah berlaku dalam sejarah Malaysia dan Sabah, ialah letusan Pulau Tiga, pada 1897.
