Rise Records ialah sebuah syarikat rakaman Amerika yang kini berpangkalan di Beaverton, Oregon, terutamanya memfokuskan pada artis muzik rock alternatif, heavy metal dan punk rock.

Sejarah

Rise diasaskan pada tahun 1991 oleh Craig Ericson di Nevada City, California. Beliau mengeluarkan sebilangan kecil rekod 7" sebelum meletakkan label pada rehat untuk menghadiri kolej. ^[3] Ericson tidak mengeluarkan apa-apa lagi sehingga 1999, selepas berpindah ke Portland, Oregon.^[3] Beliau mula mengeluarkan rekod cetakan kecil 7", dan keluaran CD pertamanya datang pada tahun 2000, daripada kumpulan One Last Thing.

Keluaran Rise Records diedarkan di A.S. oleh ADA dan BMG. Pada Julai 2013, syarikat itu berpindah dari Portland ke Beaverton, Oregon yang berdekatan.^[4] Label ini mempunyai perjanjian pengedaran dengan Alternative Distribution Alliance,^[5] pengedar indie yang dimiliki oleh Warner Music Group dan terus di Eropah dan Australia dengan Warner Music dan BMG.^[6]

Pada 9 September, label Australia UNFD mengumumkan perkongsian pengedaran dengan Rise.^[7] Pada 18 Mei 2015, BMG mengumumkan pemerolehan label tersebut. Rise akan mengekalkan ibu pejabatnya dan Ericson akan kekal bertanggungjawab. BMG akan membantu dengan operasi pejabat belakang dan menyediakan Rise capaian yang lebih antarabangsa.^[8]

Pada 8 Disember 2017, Craig Ericson mengumumkan pemergiannya daripada labelnya.^[9] Sean Heydorn melangkah dan mengambil alih Rise Records.

Pada 2020, Rise Records memindahkan operasi mereka ke pejabat BMG Los Angeles, yang terletak di 5670 Wilshire Blvd, di mana Sean Heydorn terus menyelia label itu hari ini.^[10]

Pada 18 Februari 2021, Rise Records mengumumkan perkongsian dengan Blue Swan Records yang diasaskan oleh gitaris Dance Gavin Dance Will Swan.^[11]
