Realme

Realme (digayakan dalam semua huruf kecil atau sebagai гealme; Cina: 真我; pinyin: Zhēn wǒ) ialah pengeluar elektronik pengguna China yang berpangkalan di Shenzhen, Guangdong. Ia diasaskan oleh Li Bingzhong (dikenali sebagai Sky Li) pada 4 Mei 2018, yang merupakan bekas naib presiden Oppo. Bermula pada asalnya sebagai sub-jenama Oppo, Realme akhirnya meneroka sebagai jenamanya sendiri. Realme kemudiannya menjadi jenama telefon pintar 5G yang paling pesat berkembang pada Q3 2021.

Pada Jun 2020, bilangan pengguna telefon pintar global Realme mencecah 35 juta, dan jualan produk AIoT memecahkan rekod 1 juta. Menurut Statistik Counterpoint, Realme menduduki tempat ke-7 dalam ranking bilangan telefon pintar yang dihasilkan secara global pada suku pertama 2020, dengan kadar pertumbuhan tahunan sebanyak 157%, menduduki tempat pertama di dunia.[1]

Pada masa ini, Realme telah memasuki 27 pasaran di seluruh dunia, termasuk Asia, Eropah, Rusia, Australia dan Mesir.[2]

Sejarah

  • Syarikat Realme diasaskan pada 4 Mei 2018.[3] Sebelum itu ia adalah sub-jenama Oppo, yang merupakan anak syarikat BBK Electronics,[4] sehingga pembentukannya sebagai spinoff pada 4 Mei 2018.[5][6]
  • Pada Mei 2018, mereka mengeluarkan telefon pertama mereka, Realme 1.
  • Pada 30 Julai 2018, Sky Li mengumumkan peletakan jawatannya daripada Oppo dan hasratnya untuk menubuhkan Realme sebagai jenama bebas pada Sina Weibo.[7]
  • Pada 15 November 2018, Realme menggunakan logo baharu.
  • Pada 22 November 2018, Realme menjadi jenama baru muncul di pasaran India.[8] Penjualan peranti Realme di India sejak itu telah mengatasi jualan Oppo. Realme telah menjadi jenama telefon pintar keempat terbesar di India sejak 2019, di belakang Xiaomi, Samsung dan Vivo. Realme memegang rekod di India untuk telefon pintar pengecasan terpantas dan telefon pintar 5G pertama di India.[9]
  • Pada 15 Mei 2019, Realme mengadakan persidangan pertamanya di Beijing untuk memasuki pasaran domestik China, melancarkan Realme X, Realme X Lite dan Realme X Master Edition..[10][11]
  • Menjelang Julai 2019, Realme telah memasuki pasaran termasuk China, Asia Selatan, Asia Tenggara dan Eropah.[12]
  • Menjelang Ogos 2019, Realme melepasi 10 juta pengguna.[12]
  • Pada 16 Mei 2022, Francis Wong mengambil alih sebagai CEO Realme Europe.[13]
  • Menjelang 7 April 2023, syarikat induk, BBK Electronics, tidak berfungsi meninggalkan Oppo dan Vivo untuk mengambil alih sebagai syarikat induk bagi sub-jenama mereka sebelum ini. Hasilnya, Realme menjadi anak syarikat Oppo bersama OnePlus. [14]

  • Realme UI 3.0 now features a redesigned resource management system with AI Smooth Engine, which uses CPU and GPU more efficiently to make system performance smoother, faster app launch, and improved Battery life.
  • With Floating Window 2.0, selected apps like Video will automatically minimize to a corner of your screen when you run a second app simultaneously.

Realme UI 4.0

  • Launched on December 8, 2022 with the duo smartphone Realme 10 and Realme 10 pro plus, this is a version based on Android 13. Realme UI 4.0 redesigns the interface of the applications system usage and quick controls. The card style will bring intuitiveness, simplicity, and separate each item for easier operation for users.
  • With this version 4.0, Realme has allowed users to further customize the phone's standby screen, music display cards, notification icons and even application emojis.
  • New Dynamic Computing Engine technology on the 4.0 interface will bring overall performance increased by 10%, battery life increased by 4.7% and device temperature reduced by only 1 degree Celsius. Just using software solutions alone, the company has brought about such strong improvements, which is very commendable.
  • Realme UI 4.0 will be equipped with many new security features against viruses and malware, with a special emphasis on the ability to protect personal data and user privacy. Not to mention the Auto Pixelate feature, which automatically detects and hides sensitive information in photos and screenshots.

Realme's popularity online can be attributed to its successful utilization of community-driven resources such as Facebook. In November 2018, Realme Philippines created the Squad Leader Program.[17]

As of 2024, Realme's Squad Leader Program consists of 14 members, two of which came from its original trio Squad Leaders.
