Dalam linguistik dan bidang berkaitan, pragmatik ialah kajian tentang bagaimana konteks menyumbang kepada makna. Bidang pengajian menilai bagaimana bahasa manusia digunakan dalam interaksi sosial, serta hubungan antara jurubahasa dan yang ditafsir.[1]
