Falsafah pendidikan
Falsafah pendidikan mengkaji skop dan matlamat budaya, bentuk, tradisi, amalan dan kaedah yang lebih baik, mengkaji penambahbaikan dan maknanya dalam pendidikan. Istilah ini digunakan untuk menggambarkan pematuhan falsafah, dan analisis falsafah asas tema-tema ini dan penerangan atau analisis pendekatan pedagogi tertentu. Pertimbangan tentang cara profesion berkaitan dengan konteks falsafah atau sosiobudaya yang lebih luas boleh dimasukkan.[1][2][3] Falsafah pendidikan dengan itu bertindih dengan bidang pendidikan dan falsafah gunaan.
Sebagai contoh, ahli falsafah pendidikan mengkaji apa yang membentuk asuhan dan pendidikan, nilai dan norma yang diturunkan melalui asuhan dan amalan pendidikan, had dan pengesahan pendidikan sebagai disiplin akademik, dan hubungan antara teori dan amalan pendidikan.
Di universiti, falsafah pendidikan biasanya menjadi sebahagian daripada jabatan atau kolej pendidikan.[4][5][6][1]
