Bothriochloa
Bothriochloa adalah sejenis genus tumbuhan dalam keluarga rumput Poaceae, yang biasa dan tersebar luas, asalnya dari banyak negara di semua benua yang didiami dan banyak pulau.[4] Mereka sering disebut sebagai rumput janggut, rumput biru atau rumput bluestem. Beberapa spesies bersifat invasif di kawasan di mana mereka diperkenalkan.[5][6]

Sejenis spesimen Bothriochloa dari Bukit Benteng Gooty, Andhra Pradesh, India telah dikumpulkan pada Disember 2019 dan dikenal pasti sebagai Bothriochloa ewartiana (Domin) C. E. Hubb. berdasarkan kajian literatur dan surat-menyurat antarabangsa dengan pakar dari Australia, Indonesia, dan Amerika.[7] Kajian ini menambah penyebaran luas dan tersekat spesies Far Eastern di Asia dari India.[7]
