Bienertia
Bienertia adalah genus tumbuhan berbunga yang kini diklasifikasikan dalam keluarga Amaranthaceae[1] s.l. (termasuk keluarga Chenopodiaceae). Untuk masa yang lama, genus ini dianggap hanya terdiri daripada satu spesies, Bienertia cycloptera, tetapi pada tahun 2005 dan 2012, dua spesies baru telah dipisahkan.

Spesies dalam genus ini telah memperoleh jenis fiksasi karbon C4 sel tunggal yang luar biasa tanpa anatomi Kranz, yang juga ditemui dalam beberapa spesies genus yang berkaitan rapat Suaeda.[2][3]
